We live in a time of incredible scientific advancement. We see physicians create life-saving treatments, engineers build faster computers and more sophisticated algorithms, researchers reprogram cells. At the heart of each scientific discovery, advancement, and innovation lies story waiting to be told.

 I’m a freelance science writer, illustrator, and animator based out of Richmond, Virginia excited to tell these stories. For over a decade, I worked as a genomic researcher on high profile projects such as Stand Up To Cancer and the Human Genome Project. In 2018 I graduated with a master’s in science writing from Johns Hopkins University. In addition to freelancing, I also serve as the Art and Multimedia Editor for the online magazine The Science Writer.
